Herc-U-Lift utilizes computerized dispatching of service calls and Planned Maintenance (PM) tracking to match the right technician to the breakdown. At the dispatcher’s fingertips, all service calls and their current status is displayed. Breakdowns are matched with PMs to minimize travel time and disruption to the customer. More than 9,500 service calls and 17,000 PMs were performed by Herc-U-Lift in 2007. Currently, Herc-U-Lift has 9,500 PMs on contract.

Herc-U-Lift utilizes a wide variety of support equipment to meet the unique needs of our customers. We currently has cube, cargo, utility and crane style trucks in service. Each truck is designed to improve efficiency and lower the overall total cost of ownership for our customers. Most vans are fully loaded with specialty tools such as: a hose press, computer and handset, digital diagnostic programs, carbon monoxide meters and digital libraries.
We have a full service shop offering customer repairs, welding, fabrication and milling capabilities. In addition, we offer new truck get readies, used equipment reconditioning and a full paint shop.
